Boudoir Photography - An Amazing Gift (to you, or your significant other!)

Boudoir photography has been around since the beginning of time! The female form is amazingly beautiful, and has been immortalized in sculpture, paintings and in photographs. Heck, I need to go google ancient cave drawings because it might have even started there. There is something empowering about a photograph that captures your sensual, feminine side and shows you an image of yourself you may never have imagined. It is liberating and confidence-boosting! And a boudoir album is the perfect gift for your significant other. (Valentine's Day is right around the corner!) My studio is dedicated to showing women how beautiful they are, especially in the eyes of those who love them, and a boudoir photo shoot does just that!

My studio in Mandeville, Louisiana is dedicated to relaxed and easy, so you can be assured that on the day of your shoot, I will completely guide you in posing, finding the most flattering angles and light to capture beautiful images. Age is not a factor when it comes to boudoir, either! Every woman, regardless of age, has a perceived flaw, or a body part they aren't fond of. As part of your consultation, we discuss these things and design your set, wardrobe and poses to make you feel the most comfortable and beautiful.

The first step is a consultation to discuss your thoughts and ideas. I know it is a little nerve-wracking to even think about revealing yourself this way, but I assure you, it is a private and intimate session that takes place in my studio with only my makeup artist attending. (My studio is located on my five-acre property in Madisonville, Louisiana, so no traffic, no drive by's, just us!) As far as posting to social media or my web site, I only post images if you are comfortable with it.

Wardrobe and "set" design are planned before your shoot. The possibilities are endless! If am available to help choose what outfits to bring by shopping with you or coming to see what's available in your own closet. Sometimes simple is best, and a white t-shirt can be very sexy. Of course one visit to Victoria's Secret and you will see how unlimited the choices are! I have lots of tulle, furry blankets, and pillows and white sheets, here at the studio so we can always get creative and don't have to break the bank on buying outfits!
